Inc. 5000 ranks LAI International to annual list of fastest-growing firms

Precision contract manufacturing company is five-time winner with 18% three-year growth


PHOENIX, Aug. 29, 2011 — LAI International, a strategic supplier of precision components and subassemblies for original equipment manufacturers, made the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing, privately held U.S. companies for the fifth-consecutive year.
   LAI International ranked 4,477 on the 2011 Inc. 5000, Inc.'s annual ranking and recorded a three-year growth rate of 18 percent.

   The Inc. 500|5000 list is compiled by ranking best-in-class companies according to their success and growth from 2007 to 2010.
   LAI International, which has showed revenue growth of 15.6 percent in the last four years, has earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 every year since the list began in 2007. LAI reached the position of 2,666 on the Inc. 5000 list in 2010. The company was ranked 3,688th in 2007, the inaugural year of the Inc. 5000. LAI was one of 253 U.S. manufacturing companies recognized by the Inc. 5000.
   The 30th Annual Inc. 500|5000 Conference and Awards Ceremony, is set for Sept. 22–24, at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, Washington, D.C. 
  Inc.'s list recognizes the significant accomplishments of the 5,000 fastest growing privately-owned businesses in the country, based on percentage growth in company net sales over a four-year period. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, independent and have had at least $100,000 in revenue in 2006, and $2 million in 2010.
