SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ., June 1, 2011 — LAI International, Inc., a strategic supplier of precision components and subassemblies for original equipment manufacturers, has been named to the FAB 40 list of most-successful metal-fabricating companies.
   The award honors the most successful and best financially performingmetal fabricating companies in the United States, according to Dan Davis, editor-in-chief, The Fabricator.
   “Feedback from the FAB 40 list of leading metal fabricators supports both the positive reports from the field and the manufacturing data from the government,” Davis said in the article The Fab 40: Back to Business, published in the June 2011 edition of The Fabricator.    
   “So how do metal fabricators view their situation in the manufacturing world? Improving.” Davis reported. “The FAB 40 reported $744.6 million in revenues in 2010 and project to collect $847.5 million in 2011 — a healthy 13.8-percent increase. A look back at last year's FAB 40 list reveals that metal fabricators expected only a three percent increase when projecting 2010 revenue over actual 2009 revenue.”
