LAI scores 100-percent quality rating
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 27, 2008 -- LAI International's Tucson facility
scored 100 percent on recent audits of its quality certifications.
Southwestern Laser received a 100-percent rating during an audit
for certification of ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100 Revision B in accordance with the
requirements of AS9104, according to NQA, an accredited organization under the
Aerospace Registrar Management Program. The certification applies to LAI's laser
cutting, drilling, machining and welding services.
The LAI facility also received a 100-percent conformance rating for
NADCAP certification for non-conventional machining in accordance with SAE
Aerospace Standard AS7003.
