LAI launches new web site
LAIco.com reinforces company’s identity as strategic supplier
of precision-manufactured components for OEMs
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., July 3, 2008 — LAI International, Inc. has announced the launch of its newly re-designed web site
LAIco.com,
unveiling its new brand identity as strategic supplier of precision
components and subassemblies for original equipment manufacturers.
“The
new site —
LAIco.com — tells the story of LAI International’s successes,
including its significant growth, technological developments,
manufacturing innovations and superior customer service,” Matt Kalina,
director of marketing for LAI International, said. “The re-vamped site
reflects LAI’s leadership position in providing complete
contract-manufacturing solutions and services for mission-critical
applications in aerospace, power generation, defense and other advanced
technology industries.”
LAI has also introduced its
new tagline — The Precision Manufacturing
Experts — reinforcing the company’s excellence in delivering
precision-engineered components and assemblies to its customers.
The site highlights LAI’s major accounts — some of the
largest OEMS in the world — including BAE, The Boeing Company, GE,
Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Pratt & Whitney, among
others.
The completely redesigned web site has undergone
significant enhancements in navigation, content and search capability.
The site features an offer for comprehensive manufacturing evaluations
by LAI’s team of manufacturing experts, and includes a new downloadable
presentation, announcements, case studies, testimonials and examples of
LAI’s manufacturing solutions.

non-conventional machining and welding processes. In addition, LAI has
best-in-class manufacturing design teams located at each of its
production facilities, enabling optimized production throughput and
quality.
LAI is known for its experience in supply chain management
of complex manufacturing processes and its technical expertise in
advanced waterjet cutting, drilling and five-axis machining, as well as
precision laser processing, including laser cutting, drilling, welding,

high-speed CNC machining, electrical discharge machining, including
wire, plunge and hole-drilling EDM processing, five-axis grinding,
welding, conventional machining and certified gage calibration.
